Welcome to Apples and Spindles, a blog that looks at the world through an enchanted lens. We know fairy tales often have “happily ever afters,” but the journeys of the characters through these harsh and romantic worlds are why we feel a thrill inside us every time we hear “Once Upon a Time…” We love the wicked witches and the dark forests as much as the glass slippers and pumpkin carriages. Through this blog I will explore fairy tales and our enchanted world in fact and fiction, in life and art, and my photography will illustrate how I often view the world while under their spell.
